Using Singapore’s MRT to get around is the easiest way to avoid unnecessary parking fees, taxi fees and time spent in traffic.

It’s also super cheap and more environmentally friendly than driving your own car around the city.

Bedok Stadium is actually located between a few MRT stations. Therefore, you will have some choice in terms of where you exit the system to connect with buses.

Visiting Bedok Stadium in Singapore

As its name suggests, Bedok Stadium is a football stadium in Bedok, Singapore. It has a seating capacity of approximately 3,965 spectators when you consider semi-permanent and portable seats.

Aside from the central football field, Bedok Stadium also has some track and field facilities. It has an 8-lane running track for doing laps and sand pits for long jump and triple jump. It is considered to be one part of Bedok Sports Complex, which also includes a Swimming Complex, Fitness Centre, and Sports Hall.

Bedok Stadium isn’t one of Singapore’s newest sporting facilities. It opened its doors way back in 1982 and still remains a popular public facility for families and athletes in Bedok.

Getting to Bedok Stadium using MRT

Step 1: Walk to the nearest MRT station.

The first step in getting to Bedok Stadium fast and affordably is to access the closest station. If you’re living in Singapore, you probably already have a station that you use on a daily or weekly basis.

If you are visiting Singapore, then take some time to choose the right area and the right hotel/hostel.

Ideally, try to be only 2-3 minutes walking distance from a station to ensure that you can easily access the metro to save money on taxi fees.

Here are two properties below that are ideally located. They both receive very positive review scores from verified guests:

Similar to Tourist Passes, you can use stored value cards on buses and trains. Your account value on the card will automatically get deducted every time you go somewhere.
