Not only does Changi Airport have one of the best malls in Singapore, Changi Jewel, it is also adjacent to beautiful green lungs such as Tanah Merah Country Club, Laguna National Golf Resort and National Service Resort and Country Club.
Changi Jurassic Mile is located just a few minutes southeast of Terminal 4 at the Airport, along the easternmost side of Tanah Merah Country Club Garden Course.
Visiting Changi Jurassic Mile in Singapore
Jurassic Mile is a super cool place to visit in Singapore. It is best described as a large outdoor display of life-sized dinosaurs.
Changi Jurassic Mile attracts visitors of all ages because it features 20 different prehistoric dinosaurs spanning a track of approximately 1 km. Families head here with delighted kids, and exercise enthusiasts make good use of the track.
You can expect some nice outdoor scenery and vegetation at Changi Jurassic Mile as well. Directly west of the Jurassic Mile is the scenic and meticulously maintained Tanah Merah Country Country (Golf) Club.
Changi Jurassic Mile also has some practical value.
It helps to connect East Coast Park with Changi Airport. It’s common to see cyclists and pedestrians navigating here while getting distracted by the dinosaurs. The tallest one stands at almost 5 meters high!
The Jurassic Mile isn’t close to downtown Singapore. Marina Bay and Chinatown are quite far away, so you have to be up to date on transport options to get here efficiently from most hotels in the city centre.
Getting to Changi Jurassic Mile by MRT
Due to Jurassic Mile’s location near Changi Airport, it’s possible to take the MRT to within approximately 2 km of it. Then, you can either walk, cycle or take a taxi from there.
In the section below, we will outline how to access the nearest station to Changi Jurassic Mile and access it from the metro.
Step 1: Walk to the nearest MRT station.
Chances are that if you are looking at directions to the Jurassic Mile, then you are not staying at an airport hotel.
If you are staying in downtown Singapore, we suggest booking a room close to an MRT station. Popular areas with convenient MRT access include Marina Bay, Chinatown and Little India.

Step 2: Plan your route to Changi Jurassic Mile (Lines, Transfers and Stations).
The closest MRT station to Changi Jurassic Mile is Changi MRT Station (CG2).
As its name suggests, Changi Station is integrated with Changi Airport. It is a popular access point for travellers heading to and from the airport to the city.
It is technically an extension of the East-West (Green Line) on Singapore’s MRT network.
Step 3: Buy an MRT ticket to Changi Station (CG2).
You can buy several types of MRT tickets/cards in Singapore on your way to the Jurassic Mile.

We used an EZ link card while figuring out how to get to Changi Jurassic Mile by MRT.
EZ link cards are a type of stored value card. Once purchased and topped up, you can tap and go on buses and trains throughout Singapore.
You can also use Singapore Tourist Passes on buses and trains.
Single or multiple journey tickets are available at MRT stations in Singapore. Even credit cards can be used for rides, but to tap and go, you must have a wave feature that world on the card.
Step 4: Complete necessary line transfers and ride the metro to Changi Station.
Take the MRT to Changi Station.
If you take the East-West Line (Green Line), you can transfer to the Changi Extension at Tanah Merah Station.
Alternatively, you can use the Downtown Line (Blue Line) to Expo Station and transfer there to the Changi MRT line.
Regardless of which route you take to Changi Station, the last station you will stop at before Changi is Expo.
Once you stop at Expo, move closer to an exit.
Step 5: Alight at Changi Station with your belongings.
Alight when you arrive at Changi Station. This is the terminal stop.
Bring all your stuff with you on your way to the Jurassic Mile.
Step 6: Walk Level P to Level 1 to find the Terminal 2 Exit.
After you exit the train at Changi Station, you will have to find the correct exit access to Changi Jurassic Mile.
Changi Station has 4 main levels:
L2 Airport Departure Halls
L1 Airport Arrival Halls
P Concourse and Platform A and B
You will arrive at Level P, where the train platforms are located.
Head up to Level 1 and follow the signs towards Terminal 2.
Exit Terminal 2.
Step 7: Walk or take the bus from Changi Airport to Jurassic Mile.
Once you have exited Terminal 2 at Changi Airport, you have the choice of heading to Jurassic Mile by public bus or walking/cycling.

Walk along T4 way and then turn left onto T4 Arrival Drive.

Cross the road and turn left to access the Jurassic Mile.

Walking Directions from Changi Airport to Changi Jurassic Mile
You can walk from either Terminal 2 or Terminal 4 to Changi Jurassic Mile.
The closest part of Changi Airport in relation to the Jurassic Mile is the Terminal 4 Arrival area. Therefore, when you exit Changi Airport, you have to walk south until you reach T4 Arrival Drive.
Head southeast along T4 Arrival Drive until you reach the pathway to the Jurassic Mile. You will see a sign with a dinosaur to confirm you’re in the right spot.
The walking time from Changi Airport to Jurassic Mile depends on your starting point.
But it takes approximately 15-19 minutes from Terminal 2 and 3-5 minutes from Terminal 4.
Getting to Changi Jurassic Mile by Public Bus
You can also get within close walking distance of Changi Jurassic Mile by taking public bus services.
The benefit of bypassing the MRT altogether is that you won’t have to navigate your way through any terminals to reach the dinosaurs. If you are wondering how to get to Changi Jurassic Mile by bus, simply head to the Terminal 4 Bus Stop.

If you are taking a taxi to Changi Jurassic Mile, then you will save time getting to this area of Singapore. Similar to the bus information above, you can ask the taxi driver to drop you off near Terminal 4 along the road near the entrance to the Jurassic Mile on T4 Arrival Drive.
If traffic is heavy, then you might have to get dropped off at the Terminal 4 Arrival Pick-up point. Then you can follow the signs and walking directions above to the entrance.
If you have your vehicle, then consider parking at Car Park 4A.
You can walk from Car Park 4A to Changi Jurassic Mile in about 10 minutes.
Keep in mind that you cannot park right at the entrance to the Jurassic Mile, so getting dropped off by a taxi is an affordable and stress-free option for getting there.
The two major roads for getting to Jurassic Mile are PIE and ECP.
What to see and do around the Jurassic Mile?
Changi Jurassic Mile is not located in downtown Singapore. Instead, it’s out by the airport.
You will find having your own wheels (car or bike) very convenient here.
Getting from the Jurassic Mile to other points of interest around Changi Airport will take some time. But there are several excellent shopping malls worth exploring such as:
