Step 3: Buy your ticket to reach Woodlands Station (NS9/TE2).

There are three main types of tickets/cards for getting to Woodlands North Plaza via MRT and bus services:

Step 4: Ride the MRT to Woodlands Station (NS9/TE2). 

Complete transfers to the North-South Line or the Thomson East Coast Line (once it fully opens). 

Travel on the MRT to Woodlands Station (NS9/TE2).

Woodlands Station has four neighbouring stations that you should be familiar with:

Marsiling Station (NS8)

Admiralty Station (NS10)

Walk along Woodlands Street 81 until you reach Woodlands Street 82. 

Turn right (east) onto Woodlands Street 82. Continue walking until you see Woodlands North Plaza on your left (north). 

Enter the shopping centre.

The walk from Woodlands Station to Woodlands North Plaza should take about 10-12 minutes.

Since Woodlands North Plaza is not directly beside Woodlands MRT Station, for many commuters, it makes more sense to take a bus directly to the mall as opposed to using the MRT network.
