Exiting King Albert Park Station (DT6)

King Albert Park MRT Station (DT6) is an underground station located underneath Bukit Timah Road at the junction of Blackmore Drive.

You can either walk or bus from the Station to the Plaza. But keep in mind that connecting buses will still require you to walk to the entrance of the mall.

Travel west on Bukit Timah Road until you reach Clementi Road. 

Turn right (north) onto Clementi Road and then turn left onto Dunearn Rd/Upper Bukit Timah Rd

Is it more practical to walk or take the bus from the MRT to Bukit Timah Plaza?

According to our research and experience, it makes more sense to walk from Beauty World Station (DT5) and/or King Albert Park Station (DT6) than to take connecting bus services. 

The walk from Beauty World Station to the mall is only 600 m, and the walk from King Albert Park Station is about 750 m. 

By the time you wait for a bus, ride it, and then walk to the mall from the closest bus stop it will likely take you more time!

Walking is also much healthier and better for the environment!

But, if you have to take the bus (during heavy rain or intense heat, for example), then it will take about 4-5 minutes longer than briskly walking between the stations and Bukit Timah Plaza.

You should look into staying in Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam for cheaper rooms and surrounding restaurants.
