There are several phone repair shops, a florist and some traditional medicine halls as well. 

Parking is also available if you decide to drive there as opposed to taking the MRT.

Step 1: Plan your route – the best stations and lines.

 The best station for getting to Bishan North Shopping Mall via MRT is 

Bishan Station (CC15/NS17)

Conveniently, Bishan is an interchange station between the following two lines:

Circle Line – shown in orange colour on the metro map

North-South Line – shown in red colour on the metro map. 

You can take either one of these lines to reach the mall.

Exiting Bishan Station (CC15/NS17)

Bishan MRT Station (NS17/CC15) is built underground at the boundaries of Bishan East and Marymount planning subzones.

It has four main levels you should be familiar with:

L1 – Street Level

B1 –  North-South Line Train Platforms A and B

B2 – Circle Line Concourse and Transfer Link

B3 – Circle Line Train Platforms A and B

According to the station layout, you will get off at a different level depending on which line you are travelling on. 

The North-South Line trains stop at Level B1, whereas the Circle Line trains stop at Level B3.  

Bishan MRT station has five exits in total: A, B, C, D, and E.

Exits A, B, C and D are all located at Street-Level. 

Exit E is located beside the North-South Line platforms on B1.  

Take Exit B if you want to walk or take the bus to Bishan North Shopping Mall.

Depending on your preference and time, you can either walk or bus to Bishan North Shopping Mall from Bishan Station.

Walk across Bishan Road using the overhead pedestrian walkway. 

Wait at the following bus stop:

Stay on the bus just for a few stops and then get off at 

Bishan Nth Shop Mall – Stop ID: 53381

Walk directly from the bus stop straight to the eastern entrance of Bishan North Shopping Mall.


Walking Directions

From the station exit, walk north along Bishan Road. 

Turn left onto Bishan Street 22.

Walk northwest along Bishan Street 22.

Continue walking on Bishan Street 22 all the way to Bishan North Shopping Mall. 

Enter Bishan North Shopping Mall using the eastern entrance.

The walk from Bishan Station to Bishan North Shopping Mall should take 13-14 minutes.

Sin Ming Plaza (Info and Directions)

Thomson Plaza (Info and Directions)

Junction 8 is a particularly convenient mall because it’s right beside Bishan Station. 

Alternatively, if you are an outdoor enthusiast or want to get some exercise, head to 

Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. It is only a few minutes walk north of Bishan North Shopping Mall.

You won’t find many hotels near Bishan North Shopping Mall, unfortunately. Instead, people tend to stay a bit further south, closer to the city centre. 

Many hotels are located along Balestier Road, north of Tan Tock Seng Hospital (Directions). This is a good area if you want to be north of the city centre but still close enough to points of interest such as Bishan North Shopping Mall. 

Expect to find reasonable prices for rooms along Balestier Road since most are classified as 2, 3 or 4-star properties. 

You might want to start looking at these properties first:

Ramada by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park (4-star)

Ibis Singapore Novena (3-star)

Fragrance Hotel – Oasis (2-star)

Actually, staying here will likely save you a lot of money in comparison to staying in the city centre.
