This is the complete guide on how to get to MINT Museum of Toys by MRT. Based on our experience using the MRT in Singapore, there is no better way to get to this museum than to use the MRT.

There are four thematic levels at MINT Museum of Toys (Characters, Outerspace, Childhood Favourites and Collectables. This diverse range makes it an interesting place to visit for a wide range of guests. Although you may not find every exhibit interesting, you are bound to enjoy at least one of them! Expect to see Singaporeans, tourists, children, collectors and student groups during a visit here.

Getting to MINT Museum of Toys using the MRT 

Step 1: Find the nearest station and buy a ticket.

Single trip tickets, in general, are the best if you were only going to use the MRT once or twice while you are in Singapore.  Just simply buy these at the ticketing machine within the decision.

When we first discovered how to get to MINT Museum of Toys by MRT we used a type of stored-value card known as an ‘EZlink card’.  Once you buy one of these and top it off with cash they are super easy to use. Just simply top to enter and exit each station and the cash balance will be deducted automatically from the card. Singaporeans and long-term visitors to Singapore use these cards extensively.

Step 2: Select the station you want to alight at. 

The interesting thing about visiting the MINT Museum of Toys is that there are many MRT stations within close walking distance of the Museum. Consequently, it’s a matter of finding the most convenient one for you.

Step 3: Ride the MRT to City Hall, Bugis, Bras Basah or Esplanade Station.

When you are ready to go to the MINT Museum of Toys refer to the train map in the station. Look to see if you need to transfer lines along the way to the museum.

Is it a smart idea to stay near the MINT Museum of Toys while in Singapore?

Although the Mint Museum of Toys is not directly located on Marina Bay or Chinatown,  it is in a surprisingly convenient area of the city. If you stay near the Museum then you will be very close to these four MRT stations and a wide variety of well-priced hotels.

Marina Bay and other popular areas such as Clarke Quay are very easy to access from this area of the city. Either walk or take a short MRT ride. 

Conveniently, there is a cluster of hotels right around MINT Museum of Toys. Some of the highest-rated properties include:
