Step 4: Take the MRT to Queenstown or Redhill Station.

You may have to make a few line transfers en route to these. Standard transfer stations to Queenstown or Redhill include Outram Park and Buona Vista because these connect other lines to the East-West Line.

Step 7: Walk, or take the bus to Alexandra Central Mall (Bus is the more popular option).

Due to the distance and Singapore’s heat, it is more common for people to take a short bus ride from these stations than walk. But it’s your choice, and it depends on the time of day and your fitness level.

Take Exit A from the station and walk across the sky bridge to the south side of Commonwealth Avenue. Once you are on Commonwealth Avenue, walk east until you reach Alexandra Road.
